Navigation, where i am, where i go ?

Navigation

Main navigation

First things to do on your website is the main navigation. It's very easy :

Turn you page into edit mode and drop a Auto-nav block into the Sitewide Header Navigation. Anitya support two sub-level of page but not more.

After this click on the new block added and choose Design and Custom Template.

#

And Choose Anitya Header as Custom template.

Save and all is fine for the main navigation

Mobile Navigation

I made the mobile navigation separately for Anitya because sometimes we need to have different settings on mobile.

First things is to click on the + on the edit bar and drop a Auto-nav block into the SiteWide Responsive Navigation Area

After this you need to add a custom template (see on main navigation above) named Anitya Responsive Full Screen or Anitya Mmenu. Don't worry about how this template is displaying on edit mode, it will be nicer on normal mode. Mmenu is made from a awesome script that display a left panel navigation. You will find some options in the theme option page.

That's it !

One page layout

To easily add a navigation into a one-page website is to :

  1. add all the content of the page.
  2. On the top of each "section" add a Page Section block where you can set the title that will be displayed in the navigation.
  3. Finally, add on the Sitewide Header Navigation a Page Navigator block. You will see all section's titles appear in a wrong order. Reorder and save.
  4. That's it.

Mega-menu

Mega menu work on a auto-nav block, placed into the Sitewide Header Navigation with Anitya Header custom template ( see above )

Add a mega-menu

To add a mega-menu, click on the sheet icon on top right, the same action as the one you do for adding a page from a page type. Choose to add a Mega-menu Content

#

On the Composer page that appear, Pick a page of the first level as parent page. Fill the name of the page that is only used for information.

Once published, you will see a empty page where you can now add layouts, blocks, ...

<- The page created appear in the sitemap under Anitya Megamenu Content. This page is invisible in navigation, page-list, ..

Once the page filled, return to any page to see a mega-menu uneder the parent page choosed.

Let me know if this documentation is not clear.
